I plan on taking King Kong the Musical to the Edinburgh Fringe next August. I went there this year with my friends, and man, I think King Kong could really make it big! I'm very proud of my little musical, it started as a parody then evolved in my mind and became a retelling that changed how I thought of the film. Its become more than a film to me, now its a legend. Its hard to descibe how much King Kong means to me now.
But anywho, artwise... I've been trying to change my style... trying to stylise my models and make it more simplistic. More like disney, or some of Steven E. Gordon styles. I often go to his site to copy poses and stuff. I find poses hard to do! I've been watching the series gargoyles and really wanna do something quite simple and effective like that. man, that show was some of Disney's finest work and I don't think they realise that.
